I was unsure about ordering these due to a number of reviews mentioning the lids didn't screw on correctly. I will admit it gave me a scare when I tried to put one on and then picked it up and the lid came off! I then realized I just didn't thread it right. I haven't had any of the lids come off or not thread on. It just takes an extra second sometimes to get the threads aligned. Otherwise, they are great and make excellent spice holders!

Worked great for my spice rack

I will be using these jars as succulent centerpieces alongside a quart size flower mason jar. These jars are the perfect size for larger succulents that are very branchy or just large in size. The smaller size jars that you see in the last picture will be used as wedding favors.
FYI: If you're using these for planting succulents, make sure to add pebbles at the bottom of the jar to prevent the roots from rotting due to excess water. Add pebbles at the top of the jar (after adding succulent soil) to keep the succulent in place. Don't add more than 1 tbs of water to the jars! I add 1 tbs of water to the jars every 2 weeks. I also add a few drops of liquid succulent fertilizer once a month. Finally, because I keep the succulents indoors where there is very little lighting, I have them under LED plant lights for about 6 hours a day.

Compared to similar products, the price is more than reasonable for the quality of product received. These jars can be used for all types of storage purposes, but they were specifically bought for my wife to use in storing and organizing her many spices. She has not been disappointed with our purchase of these jars. If you are in the market for glass jars, I give these my highest recommendation.

Great jars! Used them to make bridal shower hand scrub favors. They were a hit and looked so cute

I used these to make a magnetic spice rack on the side of my fridge. The shape lends itself to some neat designs and the size is perfect for storing spices. The writing on the bottom seemed like it'd be a bummer that ruined the aesthetic I was aiming for, but once the spices are in the jar it's much less noticeable. I've only had them for a few days but... I'm just using them for storing dried powders, so I have a sneaking suspicion my standards won't be as hard to meet as some people trying to use them for more heavy-duty purposes. I'm in love with the look and the metal lids make using magnets even easier! I'll probably order some more if I ever end up expanding my spice repertoire beyond ranch packets and garlic salt.
