We bought these to display cookies for an open house. We just loved the look of the baskets and they held a lot of individual bags of cookies. The bottom bowed when we were carrying them, so the bottom isn't as stiff as real wicker would be. However, we liked that these were made of poly instead of wicker--NO slivers! Worked great for us, would definitely buy them again.

1st I only got 2 instead of 3 in the pack, but it was made right by me immediately. I was impressed by that. I’ve never owned baskets like these before and I must say I don’t know why. They are beautiful and very sturdy pieces. We have a major storm coming and we are using them to store our candles, flashlights, batteries etc...after that I am going to use the to store my coupons. They are perfect for that.

This is my second purchase of these baskets (different size) because I was pleased with the look, quality, versatility and presumed durability. The craftsmanship is great - no loose pieces sticking out or uneven weaving. They do have strong smell initially, but after allowing them to sit outside for a bit the smell dissipated. The fact that they are constructed of durable hand woven Polypropylene fibers means the finish is very smooth and water/moisture resistant. I've rinsed/stored vegetables and farm fresh eggs in them with no issue. They are flexible, sturdy, and don't look/feel cheap. One comment on the dimensions - the ones I received (17.7" wide) aren't even 3 inches high, so they are more like trays than baskets. The color is a neutral brown - a bit darker than shown in the photos, in my opinion. They will work with many decors and can easily be dressed up or accessorized. I can think of so many uses for these - both inside the home and out - I've already used them in the kitchen for produce, foyer for tchotchkes, and even as a home for dog toys.

Based on the listing page alone, it's hard to discern what material they are. In some places, the copy indicates they are made of natural wicker and in other places, Polypropylene. We tend to have mail clutter in our kitchen, and these were the answer contain the paper messes in the kitchen and dining room, where sorting takes place. The third I use in my studio to contain loose objects. They fit in with the decor, rather than looking like office trays. I love them! They are sturdy, washable and look a lot like willow wicker. I might buy a second set to give as gifts to friends

This baskets are very sturdy and large! I can think of a ton of different uses for them, from holding breads and pastries to organizing desks, to holding towels in a bathroom.
